Personal Care Aides (PCA)

What is a PCA?

A personal care aide is a skilled caregiver who offers patients non-medical support in the convenience of their own homes. They offer a wide range of services, helping the patient with numerous daily tasks around the house and in the neighborhood.

Who are the PCAs for Community?

Our Personal Care Aides (PCA) help our patients with a variety of everyday duties, such as basic hygiene, housekeeping, cooking and dining, and running errands. As your care provider, we take care to match you with the caregiver that best suits your individual needs. We handle all scheduling, so you are always taken care of.

What services are offered by PCAs?

Many of the services required for our patients to continue leading full and fulfilling lives are provided by PCAs. PCAs provide personal care assistance and companionship to elderly, mentally impaired, and physically handicapped patients. They will aid the person with getting into and out of bed, dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, as well as light errands such as shopping, bringing in the mail, and other tasks. The majority of the tasks that our caregivers help our patients with are listed below.

We recognize that losing some of life’s fundamental abilities can be difficult. We also recognize that seeking or receiving assistance can be challenging in and of itself. We therefore reassure our clients that all of our PCAs have received the necessary training to deliver the best possible care while still being considerate of our patients’ requirements and feelings. We regularly evaluate every member of our staff to make sure they are giving the finest treatment possible.
